It searches for lyrics online using AI, and translates them line by line and word by word, identifying every language present and explaining the slang, proverbs, and cultural references.

Results depend on lyrics being available online. The language they're in doesn't matter.

• Request a translation for any African song. Title is required but the app handles potential misspellings. Artist is required but can be searched for if you're unsure. Get results in under a minute.

A note about Sierra Leonean songs

Lyrics to Sierra Leonean songs are usually not available online, which is part of the origin story to Salone Vibes where Salone song translations can be obtained from YouTube videos even if lyrics don't exist online.
